Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School, Nursery and Enhanced Provision is an Eco-School!
Our whole school community is proud of our Eco Schools Scotland status. We became an Eco School on 8 June 2011, with our commitment to improving the environment remaining an ongoing theme for pupils and staff ever since.
Over the years, we have focused on a number of key environmental issues, including traffic congestion around our school, litter and sustainability. We also enjoy being involved in planting activities (trees, flowers, fruits and vegetables).
As an Eco School, we work in partnership with a range of stakeholders, including the RSPB, Scottish Power, and the Community Action Team as well as our local Community Police Officers.
