Lourdes Primary becomes an Eco-School
The children, parents and staff of Lourdes Primary School are proud to announce their recent success in obtaining their second green flag for being an Eco-School.
Our first flag was awarded to the Eco-committee on the 8th June 2011.
This year the children planned and designed a school travel plan to combat the traffic congestion issues around the school. The entire school were also involved in a day of planting. They planted trees, flowers, fruits and vegetables.
The school has been working closely with the RSPB, Scottish Power, and the Community Action Team as well as our local community police.
